Dr. Moryani a hint of Dr. Moriarty?

It seems like there was some plays on words hinting the identity of actors known for other roles. For instance, Alan Mowbray is known for playing Dr. Moriarty in the Sherlock Holmes films, and in this he wants to introduce Sandra to his friend Dr. Moryani. A little too close to his character's name from the Sherlock Holmes films to simply be coincidental.

I thought the same exact thing when the name was mentioned. London, mystery, Scotland Yard. I don't think it was a coincidence. I only wish this film was as good as most of the real Sherlock Holmes' films starring Basil Rathbone. I found this film tiresome and felt that Lucille Ball was miscast.
