Emile And The Detectives

Seems very similar to Emile and The Detectives the way the kids all come out at the end to foil the crooks also similar to A Hundred Million Francs (The Horse Without A Head) which has hundreds of dogs ganging up on the crooks.I guess we have the original German Version the British Version and the French Version.

Well the book was written in the late 20s so it may have inspired Hue & Cry.

I'm sure it did it also inspired Enid Blyton to take the idea and turn it into an assembly line with The Famous Five, The Secret Seven, The Mystery Series, The Barney Mysteries etc, etc.Oh well they were fun to read as a child I suppose.
