Gene Tierney's first marriage was to fashion designer Oleg Cassini.
He worked on her films during their marriage and designed her gowns.
Ironically, the gown he designed for their wedding in 1941 was never worn because they decided to elope. Years later she wore the gown in 1946 The Razor's Edge.

I read her autobio. Sounds like they adored each other, but it wasn't a happy marriage.

IMO, Oleg used her and abused her.
