You get no argument from me.

Love this movie and Rex... but he was also quite good in Anna and the King of Siam, and Blithe Spirit and of course, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady... repeating his role from Broadway. Not his fault Fox wouldn't cast Julie Andrews!

For me Rex Harrison will always BE Capt. Daniel Gregg.

Agree that this was his best film. He beautifully underplayed Capt Gregg so effortlessly, and cut a dashing romantic figure. So many of his films are marred by his tendency to overact.

Not Fox. Warner Brothers.

You're right. I knew what I meant, I just didn't mean what I typed!

No contest for me: My Fair Lady.

Has to be MY FAIR LADY for me---that role seemed to fit him like a glove, as though it were the real him coming through.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

I preferred him in stuff like blithe spirit but eh was great in this too.

When I was a little girl, I fell in love with Captain Gregg.
This is my favorite of Rex Harrison's movies by a landslide.
