The older version with DeForest Kelley is supposedly based on a story by Cornell Woolrich.
Could somebody please tell me the title, because novels and movies based on these novels often have different titles.
The opening credits state that the film was based on the story Nightmare, with William Irish (a pseudonym used by Woolrich) as the author.
According to the blog "Tipping my Fedora" (http://bloodymurder.wordpress.com/2012/11/23/nightmare-1940-by-cornell -woolrich/), the story runs at 25000 words and has also been published under the title And so to death.
