Ingrid Bergman, she looked beautiful without having to use a trowel to put makeup on.

A top movie photographer who had the opportunity to photograph most mentioned here, classified her as 'matronly'...looking. He chose Hedy LaMarr. Of course fans of "Gone With The Wind" are choosing Vivian Leigh, and the lists go on. But during that time of Garbo, LaMarr, Tierney, and etc...Hedy LaMarr was called the most beautiful that ever graced the screen...just for once, forget acting abilities and just look at the face. In fact, she was called one of the most beautiful woman in the last 100 years. Yes, I am a fan of true beauty.

Hedy Lamarr, Gene Tierney, Ingrid Bergman and Liz Taylor were all great in their time but were they more beautiful than Dorothy Dandridge, Nobu McCarthy or Gina Lollobrigida? Others will insist on a the Marilyn Monroe or Anita Ekberg type.
