Kate Bosworth?
I know that Kate is an incredibly common name (my sister's name is Kate). But does anyone else think it's a little funny that the character's name is Kate Bosworth of all things. I just found it amusing.

I mean it is so strange that they picked her name of all things. because you know like this insignificant coincidence (if even that) was so relative at the time this movie was made.

I thought that was funny, too. It hadn't occurred to me watching the film that that was her full name...then I saw the cast list here, and thought, "KATE BOSWORTH?!"
I know a woman of nordic ancestry who's maiden name is Greta Gustafson (Greta Garbo's real name). I think she said people only bring it up about once every 5 years. share

"Like" the Catherine (Kate) Bosworth born in 1983 versus "like" the film version character of 1946, "like" almost a forty year period; "like" her parents never even saw the film or knew there was such a character. "Like" who the heck is Kate (Catherine) Bosworth anyway?
