Why isn’t this on Disney +?!
There’s already a disclaimer about other movies on there why not just include this one

shareBecause a few ignorant people who think it depicts slavery in a good light. Even though it takes place after the Civil War was over and won. I'm sure most people want to see this movie released.
shareBecause people in power like telling others what they should be offended by.
shareIt's not profitable for them to do so. It never graduated like Disney's other classics did; too much bad publicity to outweigh anything inherently good in it.

Because judging from so many Alt Right and 4chan assholes right now, it's not worth the liability. In all my 46 years, I've never, ever heard anyone care about this movie. When I was younger, it was all about Snow White, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan and Cinderella. When I was a little older, 101 Dalmations, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.
So, who is bringing up this movie? Certainly not Disney fans, movie fans or animation fans. It's only a specific demographic that keeps obsessing talking about it. The only people who are interested in this movie are 4chan and Alt Right trolls, and for completely cynical reasons. That's it. Disney execs were smart to not release it, because they probably knew that jackasses would start making racist memes and using the Disney brand to push their agenda.
So, kudos to Disney. It made the right decision, IMO. The last thing any brand needs are trolls attaching itself to its brand.
It was last shown in US theaters in 1986, US TV in 2001 and Europe TV in 2006! Millions have seen it.
There was no "alt-right" back then, that's the alt-left SJW's favourite boogey man.
Nobody alive today has met anyone from the slave era, yet lefties are obsessed with it.

Outgoing Disney CEO confirms that the controversial 1946 movie Song of the South won’t be available on Disney+, even with a disclaimer.
Because companies like Disney are run by cowards. Also: (online) mob rule.
shareFound this DVD at a flea market once and made a bunch of c*p eeees and gave them away.
