Alternate versions and mysterious characters?

I have just watched the original trailer for Postman and I've noticed a lot of scenes that are not in the movie itself, such as : a scene where Audrey Totter is in the court room and she looks up from a magazine she is reading; an alternative take of the scene where Cora and Frank first plan Nick's murder in Frank's bedroom ; and a shot of Cora and Nick from behind them as Frank crashes the car near the end.
Does anybody know if there are any other extra scenes, and where I can see them?
Also, even though I have seen this film a million times, I still can't figure out who the heck the characters 'Blair' and 'Ezra Liam Kennedy' are. They are both in the credited cast list, and Blair is played by Jeff York, and Ezra Liam Kennedy is played by Alan Reed. I know this sounds dumb, but, really, neither of their names are mentioned in the film. Can someone please tell me exactly who they are and what they do in the film?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Sorry, I can only help out with the two "mysterious characters." Blair was the motorcycle cop who liked cats, even ones "dead as a doornail." Kennedy was the defense attorney's assistant, the phony court reporter. The name may not sound familiar, but his voice should -- actor Alan Reed was the voice of Fred Flintstone!

Alan Reed also looked EXACTLY like Tony Soprano in this film. Even had the same evil smile.
