He sure did! OK - I'm a woman so I find this hard to accept since Cary Grant is kind of dreamboat. But he also "smushed" Katharine Hepburn after she violated his pipe rack and golf clubs in "The Philadelphia Story."
Go figure.

shareYeah, he took care of her behaviour in the car. He really wanted to drive! At least Hitch choreographed it behind Grants body, and not right out in the open. He knew that audiences would protest, and this way we don't know exactly what he does to subdue her. I figure he slapped her to make a point of ending the fight.
