Dialog un-intelligeable?

Is it just me, or was this dialog very difficult to make out at times??

reply

I watched it with the closed captioning on.

reply

Good idea! I never think of that. thanks.

reply

Do you mean the audibility or the British accents (which seem for some reason to alienate certain sections of the US moviegoing public)?

reply

Yes, it's unfortunate because it seemed as though the volume and the quality played a part in it, not sure.

reply

Well, I'm not part of the US moviegoing public. I'm Canadian, and I found some parts of the dialogue hard to understand. I don't have this problem with other British films.

I agree with you. The sound quality of this movie is quite poor.

I think it must be an issue with this film only, because I've seen other British films and I had no trouble understanding the dialogue when watching those movies.

TY, glad it wasn't just me. :-)

reply

I'm a New Yorker, and I've never had any trouble understanding a single word. And I have no issue whatsoever with the overall sound quality of this superb film.
