Fantasy woman...

I don't know if I stand alone in this, but Rita Hayworth in Gilda is my ultimate fantasy woman. Even though she was trampy (in the movie). I like to wonder what it would be like if Rita, Veronica Lake, Bettie Page, Jayne Mansfield, and Marilyn Monroe got into some kind of wrestling match while wearing vintage lingrie... hmmm... yep I'm creepy....

If it ever comes on again, in "The Lone Wolf Spy Hunt" it does look like Ida Lupino and Rita Hayworth are going to 'square off' at a point....

The movie is a little on the silly side (for lack of a better term perhaps) but entertaining IMO. Rita and Ida have never looked better, again IMO....

Enjoyed LWSH and both Rita and Ida had a spark that signaled better things to come. Anyone with the Gilda dvd should try playing the Put The Blame On Mame number in slow motion. The way Rita moves in that number is great.

Gilda wasn't really trampy, she pretended. Det. Obregon says at the end.

Yup, it was just preteh-end.
