Gilda/And God created woman

One of the reasons the dance sequences in these two films (especially "Mame" in "Gilda" and "Mambo" in AGCW) work so well is because of the emotional intensity that the actresses bring to their characters, in those precise moments in the respective stories. In both sequences dance is used as a form of language, releasing emotions that cannot be put in words. It's also interesting to note that both these beautiful women/sex goddesses had training in dance from a very early age and viewed themselves more as dancers than actresses.

What is the full movie title for AGCW?

AGCW is short for the film "...And God Created Woman" ("Et Dieu... créa la femme") with Brigitte Bardot, Curd Jürgens and Jean-Louis Trintignant:

Actually, Hayworth wiggling and yodelling her way around the stage in those bizarre dresses got rather annoying. Too much of that stuff - it´s almost as if they tried to turn into some silly musical.
