Selznick's Ego Run Amok
I DVR'd this on TCM a few days ago and I had to stop it at the half-way point because it got so bad. Jennifer Jones is good in everything she does, but this is obviously a vanity project set up by her soon-to-be husband David O. Selznick. The rest of the cast (Peck, Cotten, Gish, Barrymore, Huston, and Mcqueen) are underutilized and come off one-dimensional
