A big western soap opera with next to no action and a depressing love triangle. Starring Gregory Peck in one of his earliest roles, this western combines the epic setting of “The Big Country” with the jealousy and family tragedy in “Legends of the Fall.” One of the most morbid movies from that era I’ve ever seen and a waste of 2 hours. 1.5 out of 5 action rating
