The best film-noir there is!

I saw this movie as a kid with my pop and brother, and we all loved it!
Several years later I bought a dvd box with 50 film-noir movies, and this one was in it, it was great to see it again (even better now that i know what they are saying, im swedish) and its still a hell of a great movie!!!

I bought it the other day in Wimbledon for 99p. I wanted it because it was in that book The Fifty Worst Films of All Time . I didn't think it was bad at all. A 50-DVD box set sounds brilliant. How much was it?

Definitely one of the better movies on the DVD. I love how the actors intentionally or unintentionally camp it up like big hams.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

I have the same book and I also had to wait ages before I could see it. When I finally did see it I thought it was very good!

I loved Esther Howard as Filthy Flora (great name) from the Dripping Dagger (What a great name for a pub)
