Is Francois Truffaut's last movie a remake of this one?

The plot of "Dark Corner" reminds me very much of Truffaut's last film "Vivement Dimanche!" with Jean-Louis Trintignant and Fanny Ardant in Lucille Ball's role.
However it's not mentioned in "Movie Connections".
Does anybody know?

Well, DARK CORNER is basically a knock-off of PHANTOM LADY (1944), which is also about a secretary trying to clear her boss from a murder rap. No doubt there were other films that used this trope; Truffaut was probably tipping his hat to the entire sub-genre.
