Movie girl: As a classic film fan I usually listen for songs I like in 30's and 40's films. I had heard this song instrumentally in the past, (usually in dance scenes) in 40's films, but did not connect it with its title. Is the song TIme Was by Xavier Cugat? WHen I looked it up online on You Tube I think that is it. An uncredited male singer does a lovely rendition of the song when Scotty and Lorna are dancing.
