3 unrealistic scenes (spoilers)
1. The man who said he had to "think about" selling the boat to Roman gets
mauled to death by Roman's dog in the wine cellar:
a) If Roman's goal was to buy the boat, why kill him?
b) How did his washed-up body get pegged as a "suicide", when he obviously was mauled by a dog?
c) Why waste a perfectly good bottle of Napoleon wine?
2. After going a 110mph, a train appears, and Roman slams on the break and the big car comes to a nifty stop. I don't think so. They would have all died.
3. Why would our hero, who is obviously desperate for money, suddenly throw away a secure, well-paying job by trying to steal Roman's wife? This doesn't make any sense. It cannot be that after Roman's mercurial and mobster ways, he's had it working for him, either--because then he would just leave and hope Roman doesn't find him--not steal his wife and sail off to Havana!
But anyway, I liked the movie, esp. Cochran's sinister yet somewhat seductive Eddie Roman!
Unexpected plot, too!
