I love this movie too. I live in the village where it's set :-)

reply

Which village is it set in?

reply

It's set in a village called Aldington which is on the edge of the Romney Marsh and close to Ashford, Hythe and New Romney (Kent). The house is based on Noel Coward's residence in the village which is currently occupied by Julian Clary (!).

I love the Blithe Spirit House - Julian Clary lives there! if you see him say hello I used to live in the flat below him in Seymour Street London W1 I remember him leaving his chip pan on and nearly burning the place down! I wouldnt mind a visit to the great house itself :)

Wow! You are so lucky to live there! I just saw the movie for the first time, and remarked to myself how lovely the surroundings are in that movie! Do things still look the same there?

"Moment by Moment" (1978), may be the most underrated movie ever! May be my fav! <3
