Arm Candelabra

Does anybody have any pictures of the arm candelabra that (I have heard) line the walls at one point in the film? I have never seen this film (I am dying to) and I have heard that when Belle is entering the Beast's abode, these candelabra are present--an element which Joel Schumacher lifted for the journey to the Phantom's lair in that other great Beauty and the Beast story, "The Phantom of the Opera" (yes, I actually loved that movie).

Yay, I love that movie too!

Got the link right here for you. I just found that out myself.

Also, if you take a look at "15 minute Phantom" at http://www.livejournal.com/community/m15m/6231.html, you'll notice that the author makes a reference to that connection.

Quote:

CHRISTINE: Wow, I had no idea all these gold candelabra arms were right behind my room.

THE ANGEL OF MUSIC: Yeah, I got ’em cheap off some beast. You like?

"Some beast" is highlighted in blue & is another link to the same site for the picture. Pretty cool. Well, hope you enjoy!

What year was that version of "Phantom of the Opera" released? I'd like to watch it. However, like "Beauty and the Beast" there have been many many remakes. Guess a great story can't be told too many times, eh?

it was the most recent one, the musical's version
