Cried like a baby

I saw this movie about 20 years ago. My mom had died the previous year, and my dad had taken a job in Central America. This movie came on as we were waiting to take him to the airport.

I can't remember if it was the Annie Laurie scene or when they find out that he died, but I started crying. I tried to hide it but could not. I looked over and my dad was trying as hard NOT to cry as I was.

It's a great movie and really demonstrates what families are like, not to mention the curse of the Irish.

Perhaps I should have put in "quotes", but it is the propensity to tipple. I, too, am of Irish descent, and I too have a propensity for red wine, Irish whiskey, and that's about it.
