graduation
How was it that Neeley and Francie both graduated on the same day when they weren't the same age? Unless Francie was left back a year?????? Just wondered about that. I know they went to different schools.
shareYou guessed right. During the scene when Johnny was filling out the transfer form and Katie was scolding him, she mentioned that they "kept Francie out a year" so she could be in the same grade and look after Neeley in school. I never noticed that until the last time I watched the movie.
