I remember this movie from when I was 3 or 4 years old
I saw it as an adult when I was about 30, not realizing that I had seen it before, but the scene near the end with the boy getting impaled on the cast iron fence had haunted me vaguely for years. I could never reconcile it with my existence. It was almost as if it was in my memory bank as something that I really saw, but didn't know where or when. Then when I saw that scene, it all came back to me. Very eerie.
The sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new. Samuel Beckett
