Symbolism of egg beater?

Does anyone know what the symbolism of an egg beater is in a dream? Dr Petersen says that she is happy that JB has not dreamt that she is an egg beater, like many of her patients have. What could that mean?

Maybe that patient didn't experience Dr. Petersen as a mother figure. He might have identified himself with an egg - an unborn child - and her therapeutic interrogation has the effect of an egg beater to him.

Something like that?

"When there is no more room in the Oven,
the Bread will walk the Earth."

Could be -- could also be just the image of something destructive, something that "scrambles" you.

It could, however, be one that slipped by the censors. In quite a few cultures, the word for egg in the local language is sometimes used as slang for testicle (yeah, I know, wrong gender, but size, shape, and relationship to new life roughly apply). According to some dictionaries, it's even used in English sometimes.

So, it could mean the other patient thought of her as a b@ll-buster!
