Bim

I always thought Frank Faylen was a sinister-looking guy in a real rundown 1940's kind of way, and it works well in this role.

Even when I was first seeing him as Dobie Gillis's dad on TV, he seemed a little creepy, and Wonderful Life and Disney didn't change that. He's got a hardness like a murderer from Shakespeare.

Can't say that I agree with you. I've liked him in virtually every role I've seen him in, but I absolutely loved him as ' Herbert T. Gillis '.
