The funniest movie since Reefer Madness

Best Picture and Actor? lol.... I guess it was the war years.

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

Technically, as a film, it has a lot going for it. The trouble for me is that the story is unbelievable.

A spouse might stick with an alcoholic partner, because you loved them once and may still do so. But why would a free and seemingly intelligent girl like Helen undergo such protracted grief and humiliation for a closet gay drunk like Don? Is it meant to be masochism, love that thrives on pain?

And then there’s the fairy tale ending. A kiss from the faithful princess turns the frog into a sober heterosexual prince who, after a decade of totally unproductive self-indulgent idleness, is now going to exorcise it all by writing best sellers.

The evil genie of alcoholism is stuffed back into the bottle and thrown away, easy as that. You can try the trick at home, folks!

Wait a minute? Birnam was gay? Since when? Not in the movie I saw.

I think the two posters above you are quite drunk.
