shareThere was only enough room for him in the movie I guess.
No blah, blah, blah!
The story I always heard was that because of WWII, Jack Pierce was running out of yak hair for the Wolfman and only had enough for two appearances.

Makes sense, porfle.
No blah, blah, blah!
Also, since Talbot was the nominal hero of the film, who is cured and winds up with one of the leading ladies at the end, he couldn't be allowed to kill anyone while a werewolf. Thus, the screeplay had to keep his appearances as a werewolf to a minimum and then, to not have him kill anyone. Therefore his first appearance was when he'd been confined to the town jail and the second time was him changing back to human form.

This movie suffers for just that reason. There's so much stuff going on - far too much for the extremely short running time. 7/10.
What's the Spanish for drunken bum?
Its true about the Yak hair. During the war years they were having trouble getting certain supplies (rationing) and Jack Pierce couldn't get enough Yak hair for more than about two days shooting for Chaney. So they shot what they could until they ran out of Yak hair and after that, no more Wolf Man.
shareBecause the movie is titled House of Dracula, not House of the Wolf Man.
