What's everyone's opinion of John Carradine as Dracula?

I think he was miscast. No one has ever held a candle to Lugosi and that includes Christopher Lee.

I think Carradine was excellent in both House films.

I always thought the best Dracula was Al Lewis from The Munsters

imo, He looked good but needed better direction, and a more atmospheric production. The was he was running around and just being so casual with the towns folk was off putting for me.
