IMDB does not name the song that is continuously played both in real time and as background music in a variety of tempos. Does anyone know the name of the music?

The song is called "Tango of Love", a popular tune of the day.

Yes, it is tango called "Jalousie", and lyrics were later written for that part of the tango used in the movie to create a song called "Tango of Love".
