One of the two best movies Bogart ever made ("Dark Passage" is the other one IMHO).
Another good and even scarier one is "The Two Mrs. Carrolls".

It's a good movie but is it really in Bogie's top two?

What about, for example, CASABLANCA, THE MALTESE FALCON, KEY LARGO, THE BIG SLEEP, TREASURE OF THE SIERRE MADRE, IN A LONELY PLACE, THE AFRICAN QUEEN, SABRINA, TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT, THE HARDER THEY FALL, THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA and DEAD RECKONING?

If you're a Bogart fan, it's worth watching. He was not afraid to play unsympathetic characters.
He was mighty good at it.

While not quite on a par with his very best films. I wouldn't have missed seeing it for anything.

Sydney Greenstreet is in it too. Fine performances by the entire cast.
