Betty Jean Nichols

I've tried to get Betty Jean Nichols added to the cast, but had no luck, so I thought I would use this forum to see that she is credited as a cast member. She played one of Patsy's classmates--the small, olive-skinned girl. She is the one who leans over to Bogardus and solemnly says "thank you" near the end of the film. She later moved to Oklahoma and became a school teacher--my daughter was in her 2nd grade class in a small-town school.

That's cool. Is that the only movie she was in?

Does she actually appear in the credits? That may be the criteria.

It's funny that you should mention her. The other day I watched the movie at home on VHS, and noted that she has the most decidely conceited look on her face.

She was the first girl marching up the aisle, and I wondered if it was because she had been the top of the class, and was pleased with herself!

Very interesting, that you knew what became of her. She certainly deserves to be in the credits.
