I've tried to get Betty Jean Nichols added to the cast, but had no luck, so I thought I would use this forum to see that she is credited as a cast member. She played one of Patsy's classmates--the small, olive-skinned girl. She is the one who leans over to Bogardus and solemnly says "thank you" near the end of the film. She later moved to Oklahoma and became a school teacher--my daughter was in her 2nd grade class in a small-town school.

shareIt's funny that you should mention her. The other day I watched the movie at home on VHS, and noted that she has the most decidely conceited look on her face.
She was the first girl marching up the aisle, and I wondered if it was because she had been the top of the class, and was pleased with herself!
