Several of the reviews stated that Walter Brennan was an underated actor. I guess they did not realize that Mr. Brennan had won 3 academy awards as best supporting actor. These awards make him a very honored actor in Hollywood.

Agreed, Walter Brennan's dumbass routine and voice really irritate me.

I loved Brennan in this movie. Perhaps the best acting in the whole film.
