Did anyone else like the de facto "ending" after Dracula bit it about 2/3rds through the movie? I'd almost call that post-modern.

I'd also call that not wanting to keep Carradine around to have to pay him more money!

Maybe. But I kinda liked it too.
No one seemed too sorry to see huim go ...

It's like two films in one. The first third was a Dracula sequel then the other two-thirds were a continuation of Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man.
