Margaret O'Brien is absolutely adorable in this movie

I swear, every time I note this is playing I tune in just see the scene when Cuffy shows her that she isn’t afraid of the ghost. The way she turns her head back and forth, slowly showing her cute lil smile then sweetly saying ”Ohhhhhhh!” … Plus her facial gestures that follow.

Her acting is superb. I tend to rewind it at least twice.

Hollywood really found themselves a true gem of talent with this young lady.

Charles Laughton is my favorite actor, and I found him to be excellent in this film (as usual.) Robert Young was also quite good. With that said, this film was stolen (as she tended to do in any film in which she appeared) by Margaret O'Brien. Her ability to deliver lengthy, complicated script lines has never been matched in Hollywood by someone of that age (Shirley Temple paled in comparison to O'Brien.)

In a conversation about the best child actors in Hollywood history, the discussion begins with Margaret O'Brien. A tremendous, one-of-a-kind talent.

I saw the movie for the first time, last year. I loved her in this movie. She was so cute.

I also loved the movie itself. I rate it 10/10.
