Great casting for the 3 brothers...
I've seen this film at least 3 times and today it dawned on me what great casting: Van Johnson, Mickey Rooney, Butch Jenkins, all redheads with freckles. Very believable as brothers. (Makes me wonder about the Donna Reed character, perhaps adopted? :) Yes, just kidding.
