Inspired by a true incident.

"It has never been satisfactorily explained why this incident should have occurred. It had not been part of an air raid; there were none in this remote rural area."

Seems like an appropriately odd event on which to base this movie.šŸ

It might not have been an air raid. It could have been a stray bomb dropped after a sortie. It made sense to drop your ordnance rather than carry it back to base.

I agree. I think that is what would have happened in this instance. I believe Swansea was bombed on that particular night. It was common for raid pilots to drop their unspent bombs indiscriminately.

They are all dead.
