Started re-watching these legendary Universal horrors chronologically from the Dracula, Frankenstein & Wolf Man legacy box sets and couldn't be happier. It's a real treat especially after wading thru' decades of Michael, Freddy & Jason pics. Do you suppose audiences did the 'body count thing' in 1945?

Probably not, as the violence/killings in these films weren't graphic or gratuitous.

Yes, I saw both Dracula and Frankenstein in its original run in 1931 at the theater and I was keeping a death body count during both movies
