Great Film!!!
Great film without a doubt that needs to be released on DVD! I taped it off TCM with a dvd recorder but I would rather have a remastered version. If anyone wants a copy of this film, send me a private message.
shareI agree that it is an excellent film, showing the courage and struggles of women serving through the darkest days of World War II. Ann Sothern was particularly impressive in her best performance ever, as a tough but tenderhearted member of the group.
shareIt may have portrayed women strongly in doing their duties but I did not think Cry 'Havoc' was a great film. It was mostly melodramatic on a ridiculous scale unsurprisingly to denounce the enemy and making the audience sympathetic towards the group of women.
"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not".
