First scene of all

Right before the film actually starts, there are two silhouettes of a man and woman placed as on a coin. Anyone remember who they represented??

Thanks.

Wasn't that the production company's logo?

I always assumed it was Jack Benny and Carole Lombard, or perhaps more correctly their characters. It seems to be a theatrical plaque.
