tana leaves
It seems many of the Universal mummy movies have "tana leaves" that revive the mummy.
Where did they get this? Is there such a plant in ancient Egypt?

I'm not sure but they always make me think of the tannis root in Rosemary's Baby for some reason. I suppose because the name is so similar.
shareThe plant is native in Egypt. You can find it in health stores today and brew into a nice tea. Its very healthy as it gives you energy and keeps you young
shareTanna leaves are not real. Just a plot device to explain how the mummy can be revived.
