great cast, great script - keeps you laughing! A young Jackie Gleason is the soda jerk in one of his first film roles. Jack Carson (Arsenic & Old Lace, Mildred Pierce) as the pushy salesman.... kind of an opposite plot from "slight case of murder"...

I can't wait until Warner Bros. Gangsters Collection volume 4 comes out in September since Larceny, Inc. is part of it. I have Arsenic & Old Lace and Mildred Pierce as well as A Slight Case of Murder. It's amazing to me how much range Edward G. had when you watch Little Caesar and Key Largo and then move on to Double Indemnity and Scarlet Street. He has the tough guy thing and the easy going intellectual thing going on. He's no slouch with the comedy thing either. They call him the greatest actor never to win an Oscar. It is certainly easy to see why they say that.
