Brazzaville- sequel to Casablanca

So at one time Casablanca almost had a sequel set in Brazzaville. I wonder what the story would have entailed?

Maybe something to do with the Free French movement. Rick and Louis teaming up to fight the Nazis or Vichy French in Africa. A new love interest from the French resistance perhaps.

Now I don't believe it would right to make a sequel today but if they did I think it would still be an interesting story.

Even better: "Brazzaville -- the Musical!" Rick and Renault sing and dance their way through North Africa on their way to the front.
