Where is the proper UK DVD release?

Films like The Birds, Rear Window and Vertigo along with the ones around this time have been re-released by Universal, yet this one hasn't. I had enough trouble getting Dial M For Murder on it's own, and I am tempted to buy this off Ebay, but from what I've read the UK release was a colour version and wasn't that good for quality. I'm surprised that his hasn't come out again and was wondering if anybody had any information, especially as I can see that his earlier films like The Skin Game are being re-released

I think the original 2003 DVD release has been withdrawn. Yet was not re-released last year when Universal re-released for the 2nd time their Hitchcock collection (with the original photographic cover rather than the 2003 black and turquoise print whose spine was a piece that spelled out 'The Hitchcock Collection').

However play.com detail a release on 04/06/2007. No details on the cover or which print of the film it is yet.

I've just rented it on DVD, there was a choice of colour (very garish) or black and white versions, though no other extras. But I rented it from Blockbuster's online sevice, so it was one disc of a collection.

I will buy it when it comes out. Some of the other ones are being re-released. No idea what differences those will have. All I need to get now is a decent release of The Lodger and a cheaper version of Under Capricorn then I will have most of his films that I want. I may delve into his really early films like The Manxman and The Ring
