Glasses

Being a bespectacled girl, I was very happy to see Joan Fontaine in glasses in the beginning of this film. Can you help me think of some other classic films featuring actresses in specs, not counting sunglasses? The only thing that's coming to mind is Monroe in "How to Marry a Millionaire".

Thank you very kindly!

Ingrid Bergman in Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound. And also check Vertigo.

Happy Holidays! All the very best to you in 2008!

Although I doubt anyone still cares.. I've thought of a few more!

-Shirley Jones in "The Music Man"
-Judy Holiday in "Born Yesterday"
-Ali McGraw in "Love Story" (during her recital)
-Sue Lyon in the end of "Lolita"

And by heroine, I mean lady hero. I don’t want to inject you and listen to jazz.

She looked quite good in those glasses I thought. Very mysterious.
