Colour longer then Black/white

I have a dvd realease of Suspicion. It contains the Black and White version and a coloured one. The black and White version is 1 hour and 35 minutes long. And the colour one is 1 hour and 39 minutes long. Does anyone know the reason for this?

I recently recorded this from TCM, and it -- the B&W version -- is 1 hour and 39 minutes in length. The DVD B&W version must have 4 minutes edited out, but I wouldn't know which minutes.

I guess the black and white version may have PAL-speedup (or "576i speedup"), look here for example:

In German:

Was originally colour version, or was added later, with or without Hitch consentment.

Sorry but colorized versions of classic movie are gross!
