this was convoluted complex and difficult to follow and not in a good way. The story nor the characters wasn't that interesting.
shareIt really helps to watch it a second or even third time (it did for me) to understand the plot, and as for the characters and their motivations, a second viewing will help you understand them and maybe find them more interesting.

It is ridiculously convoluted, complex, and difficult to follow. I agree; especially with her constant lying, it's impossible to follow anything. Even when he ties it up at the end, it's pretty tough and doesn't quite do it.
What you have to do is to enjoy the ride. These characters are terrific. The dialogue, the patter, the rhythm, it's all fantastic. Sit back and let it flow over you; try not to analyze it too much.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Admittedly it requires more involvement from its audience than Ace Ventura. But you know what? That's what some people like about it.

Not every person in the world needs or wants to be spoon-fed.
I get that Mr ;) And I was very involved, and I'm not saying it's a bad movie. I'm saying it was convoluted in a bad way. Maybe I will like it more the 2nd time. If I was only interested in stupid comedies I would never actively seek out this movie, I just didn't like it so much and I like a bunch of intelligent movies. The "thinking" movies are my favorites.
