Forgot All About This!

Man, this is something that’s slipped my mind totally these past years. Time was when I was a kid I saw this tons on TV. It blows my mind now to comprehend that I haven’t seen this in what? 30 years + it must be. What nostalgia this movie brings to me. Hard to believe it was that old (1940). But I didn’t think of this when I was a child.

Now that I recall it I was talking to a friend the other day about it & we were reminiscing. “Yeah the Thief of Baghdad with Sabu!” Friend: “Yeah Sabu!” Me: “Yeah Sabu! Who in the hell was Sabu?!” I’ve never stopped to think of it but I guess he was famous for just that one movie. Never saw anything else he was in but I hoped he got a lot of money from it.

They had a remake that they did in the 80’s which I thought was ok & I haven’t seen that in ages either. Nice to recall films like this that were great entertainment. Good wholesome fun & the genie was great! Miss movies like this.
