Ginger Rogers in a similar film?

Maybe I am mistaken, but I thought there was a film similar to this that starred Ginger Rogers. Does anyone else have the same thought?

You may be thinking of "I'll Be Seeing You" (1944) with her playing a temporarily furloughed prisoner, who meets a recovering soldier played by Joseph Cotton.

Yep, I will bet that's the one! I watched it last year...

I'll Be Seeing You is definitely similar and another wonderful film. Both nearly had me in tears at the end and I don't cry easily.

"I'll Be Seeing You" has far more character debth than "Remember The Night". A teenage Shirley Temple has a pivotal role and the performances by the main characters make them much more believable!
And then there's the song, "I'll Be Seeing You" which became the Mantra for WWII.
Really a great film to anyone who hasn't seen it!
