Quote at the End?
Does anybody know the quote at the end of the movie? The credits ran by too quickly for me to see where its from.

shareSounds right to me. Thank you.
shareSorry to have to correct you all, but the opening and closing voiceovers are that of Shepperd Strudwick. Strudwick was a good, solid actor in the Van Heflin mold, whose failed chance at stardom in 1941's The Loves of Edgar Allan Poe (opposite Linda Darnell) nevertheless kept him busy throughout the forties to mid-fifties in key supporting roles: opposite Myrna Loy as the father in The Red Pony (1949), as the unlikely assassin in All the Kings Men (1949), and as Elizabeth Taylor's father in A Place in the Sun (1951). He began in films in many of MGM's second-unit short films, and his commanding voice most likely gave him the narration spot for The Mortal Storm. He was always first-rate in every performance, and his work is well worth seeking out.
